The Medical Spanish Team:
Hi, I’m Molly Martin, MD. My passion for learning the Spanish language began after living in Bolivia in 1995 during a semester abroad. There I worked in a Women's Health Clinic in Cochabamba. I am currently a practicing Internal Medicine doctor. I created these podcasts as a fun way to challenge my Spanish speaking skills and help others learn along with me.
Sarah Shelton and Urso Ramirez are the newest editions to the Medical Spanish Podcast team. Urso is originally from the Dominican Republic. He moved to the United States in his early twenties and currently studies Mathematics and Economics in college. Sarah, like me, grew up in Minnesota. At a young age she started traveling to Nicaragua and has spent several years studying and working throughout Latin America. She graduated with a degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Minnesota, Morris.

Maria Bjorklund, MS plays the role of the patient in the many Medical Spanish dialogues. She is originally from Peru. She is teaches High School Spanish.
My brother Ted Martin designed the Web Site and is the technical brain behind the scenes.
