Hello, and thanks for your speedy response. I am now downloading that same file on expressing emotion without problems. I didn't change anything at all. Your brother may be right about the memory issue, as I am using a laptop with only about 256 megs of memory. I'm aware that this can cause problems, but I've never seen downloads abbreviated before because of it, and exactly after repeatedly downoading the same number of seconds of file length. But then, my experience is limited to managing family computers, perusing forums, and experimentation. I am using the latest firefox. I can only say that, when I switch to internet explorer, the page seems to be rendered more smoothly and without odd glitches which sometimes occur with my firefox. For instance, when I tried to post my previous message, and hit the button to review the post before sending it....this worked well, but it took quite a bit of clicking and "fiddling" before I actually got the option to edit anything. Then there was no option to send the message. The button didn't appear. In terms of firefox addons, I do use a few dictionaries, which help with spell-checking foreign language web forums, so that might be an issue here. I think that the memory thing makes the most sense, though. I understand all the issues your brother brought up.....They constitute the official checklist of every technician everywhere. I like firefox a lot for all it's addons, but I also think that "when in doubt," just switch to internet explorer." You can always go back. They even have an addon for that too. Thanks again, Molly. Hello, it's been a while since I've complained (seems like 3 whole days) so I thought I'd let you know about another download problem.   It's a file that downloads to be a size of about 13 seconds, just enough for the introduction. I tested this with both Firefox and Internet explorer several times. It's a file on the subjunctive covering expressing opinion or emocion.....  By the way, your page seems to absolutely hate Firefox......lots of weird pauses and such....

I love the recordings, though, so please keep them coming. I'm learning a lot....
